Google AdWhat? Making Sense of Google Adsense
By Vic Carrara
You have seen on many sites, the people "ads by Goooooogle", followed by a number of ads. Well go to Google yourself and you'll see on the right, and sometimes near the top of search results pages, "Sponsored Links". This is like the classified ads you see in your daily newspaper. Companies pay for their ads will appear in this place, depending on which search terms you typed into the Google search box. Rather than a fixed price even though, advertisers bid against each other to display their ads, with the highest bidder, get the number 1 slot. This program is called "Google Adwords".
While that proved a huge success, the limited advertisers to have their ads can only be seen on Google. Then Google came up with the idea of a web site owner pays a percentage of their fees paid by advertisers, to display ads on their own sites. This became "a Google AdSense" program.
Free to join, this program has become a popular way to add new revenue streams, but more than that, some website publishers began to build a special website for this Google program. Working out the ads the advertisers who pay the most for (so that the highest percentage of commission), a publisher's website specifically aimed at high-rise buildings are paid advertising commissions - making a living by sending people away from their site!
As I said, this program is free to join, with application to fill out, but Google must approve you before you can start. The good news is that once you've approved for your first website, you do not need to apply again for each site.
However, before applying, you need to have a web site to complete. Sites should also contain what Google considers valuable content. This is the first step to make their profits. But before you think about designing your website, it is important to choose a popular topic, by paying higher commissions - after all, you will not profit from anything without any website visitors, no matter how good your site looks!
There are various tools on the web that you can use to check the popularity of the keyword:
http://www.wordtracker.com have a valuable free reports that you can download, and also test the monitoring service of their keywords.
Overture.com is a company that competes with Google to place ads, and has a keyword research tool that also provides the number of search terms each have more than last month. You can find those tools here:
http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/
Google also has a tool for keyword research of their advertisers are here:
https: / / adwords.google.com / select / main? cmd = KeywordSandbox
Once you've identified your topic, and you know the keywords you will target the entire content on the Web site, you are ready to build your site.
Design can be directly - in fact, NOT going to some site design is too complicated. You want the page appears quickly; with visitors view your content and they are all important Google Adsense ads.
You also want to make sure that you have optimized your pages for search terms you have identified. One way is to use already published articles (on topics relevant) with the rights of reprints, but add an introduction, which use keywords / keyword phrases in explaining to readers what the article was.
For example, for this article, if you target the keyword phrase "Google Adsense" and "Web Publisher" You could have written:
Many web publishers are finding profits to be made using Google Adsense.
Vic Carrara from onlyforprofit.com provides an introduction to what Google Adsense is, and how to build a Web site publishers can send money from the people from their website.
- And, for emphasis, put the first line in the H1 tag, with two in H2 tags --
If your site is complete with a good range of articles on the topic of your choice, it is time to apply for a Google AdSense account. You can find the application form in http://www.google.com/services/adsense_tour/
It should only take a few days for Google to approve (or reject) your web site. If, unfortunately you are denied, simply follow Google's suggestions and make the necessary changes to your site, then apply again. Read the information on Google's AdSense sites will help you to avoid mistakes that may make you rejected. Once approved, you will want to have fun looking at all the facilities already available, and customize the Google AdSense ads with your own website style and feel.
When finished, you can begin to place a Google AdSense search box on every page of your website, but make sure that you have read the terms and conditions on Google first. For example, if you have a thank you page that visitors arrive at after signing up for the newsletter, Google AdSense ads can not be used on the page!
You are permitted to have two ad units on each page, as well as the Google Search Box. Exploiting this, maybe a skyscraper by using either the left or right of the page. Google AdSense profit experts agree that the right side of the page to get the most clicks. Placing additional ad units both at the top or bottom of each page, using the rectangle ad units.
Sidebar: There are various forums on the internet that focuses on techniques to use Google Adsense profitable. Here are some of the more popular:

Put an ad on every page that you can on your website. This includes adding Google AdSense ads to your blogs and forums. It may take up to twenty-four hours for relevant ads to begin appearing on your website pages. Until then, you may have a public service notice.
Once your ad appears, make sure that they are relevant to the content of your pages. If they do not, make changes on the page. You may need to change the name of the HTML file, using your keywords. Match your keywords in Meta tags, and keywords and keyword density in all content pages. Change the text in the title tag, and / or change the text you are H1 and H2 headings. Uploading a new page, and see if the ads that appear more relevant. Continue to work on it until they are - this is important if you want to maximize your income.
Sounds like hard work?
Well yes, that is when you learn.
But once you get a hang of it, realize that you are creating a 'hands free' income.
Once your site is as good as can be, and the ads that appear relevant, it is time to start marketing your website. The more traffic you can get to your site, the more clicks, you'll find on your Google AdSense ads.

adsense earn money
Saturday, January 30, 2010Google AdSense - Earn Money From Your Website By Hemadri Sen
As a publisher, you could sign up to Google AdWords and set your own price to pay Google for when someone clicks on one of your ads that they have posted on a website.
On the other hand, there is Google AdSense. Google is always looking for target markets to match its current ads to in order to earn more money through advertising. Essentially, Google AdSense shares a portion of their revenue with webmasters - they need to provide their customers with a specific market for their ads: which is why keywords are so important.
If you own a website, you can sign up to Google AdSense. The key is to find a market so that Google AdSense can match ads with your site - so that you can make the maximum amount of money! For example, a site on website creation would only show ads on website creation etc. So when someone clicks on the ad, both the owner of the website and Google make money - so everybody wins!
Make sure your website is something that is in high demand, so that Google AdSense has ads that can be matched and bring you money.
Signing up to AdSense may take several days, so be patient! And don't worry if they reject you the first time. They give you suggestions on what changes you should make and once you have made them, you can resubmit your application to make it more friendly to their AdSense program! The more focused your website is, the higher the potential is for you to earn money.
One thing you must not do is to click on your own ads to earn money. Google AdSense monitors the IP addresses, so be very careful. If you click on your own ads, your account may get suspended.
If you are smart with using Google AdSense, you have the potential to earn a lot of money. A lot of people are funding their websites with the money they make from Google's AdSense program.

Sunday, January 10, 2010Notes On Finding The Best Adsense Keywords
Finding the best Adsense keyword is very important in the success and had nothing apart from your strategy, your keywords are important cardinals. Adsense is all about keywords and keyword is all about profitability.
When it comes to Adsense and finding the best Adsense keywords, it's important to remember that not all keywords are created equal. Although some keywords might be very popular, they might not bring you any returns if you target them with your Adsense campaigns. Similarly, a keyword can have a very high cost per click (CPC) but not generate enough traffic to actually get any clicks.
If you are playing the Adsense game then it's all about balancing the amounts of click you get and the cost per click. Getting a decent amount of clicks from keywords with a good (not necessarily the highest) cost per click you can greatly improve your profitability and your Adsense earnings..
Finding the best Adsense keyword is not the easiest task in the world. Unfortunately, the test is the best way to find out, but a certain software package can greatly increase your profits. If you seriously want to get a full-time income from Adsense then you simply can not afford to go without software such as Keyword Elite the most likely is part of the powerful software for this purpose.
The way I use Keyword Elite is to 'spy' on websites that look like they are doing well with Adsense. I try to sniff out the top Adsense guys' websites and then use Keyword Elite to see which keywords they are using. What makes Keyword Elite so powerful is that it would allow you to see just how long a specific website's been doing what it's doing. It is likely that if an Adsense site has been using the same strategy for more than six months then it is likely that they are making money from it.
Finding the best Adsense keywords is all about that golden balance between traffic and cost per click. Getting a lot of clicks from a cheaper keyword can be more profitable than getting only a couple of clicks from a more expensive one. Going for cheaper keywords has some added benefits though. Most people go for the expensive keywords and these markets tend to be so crowded that it's virtually impossible to get in there. As soon as you go down just a little, you can greatly improve your chances of success in less competitive markets.
When choosing keywords, one of the main considerations is the amount of traffic you can funnel to your site. Keep your niches very tight at first and focus on highly targeted traffic. Start tight and expand from there. If you are using Adwords to drive traffic to your Adsense site then it's virtually impossible to make it without the appropriate software. Once again, Keyword Elite is probably the best bet and I would recommend that you incorporate some kind of tracking software. It is incredibly important that you track your results.
In any given campaign 80% of your profit will come from 20% of your keywords. The key to profitability lies in trimming the fat and removing those keywords that cost you money without bringing decent returns.
For anyone first starting out with the Adsense and Adwords game it might at first seem impossible to make any money from it. It seems like the returns just never justify the expense. Only when you start to 'trim the fat' can you really start to make money with this method. Adsense websites don't really make that much money, but the fact that you can easily scale the process makes it so powerful. Having 50 Adsense sites each earning you $100 a month is $ 5 000 a month - meaning you can quit your day job.
You can easily get sucked into finding the best Adsense Keywords and spend hours looking for and contemplating as to which Adsense keywords to go for. Don't! On average you will make the same from a high CPC keyword as you would from a lower one. Once you factor in the traffic, the competitiveness and the cost of getting traffic to your site it can get very complicated. Just pick one and do it. That is the important thing. In the end, the best Adsense keywords are the ones that you actually use and do something with.
